In the US, Disney+ starts at $12.49/mo with ads, and the Disney+, Hulu Bundle costs just $12.99/mo, barely more than Disney+ alone (US prices checked in October 2026). Ad-free, Disney+ Premium costs $21.49/mo, and the ad-free bundle $21.99/mo. Unless you only want one service, the bundle is almost always the better buy. #How much are Disney+, Hulu and ESPN on their own?

The Disney+ Premium yearly plan costs $214.99, versus $257.88 for 12 months at the monthly price, a saving of $42.89 (about 16.6%). Hulu doesn't list a yearly plan in our catalog.

#How much each bundle saves

Here's what you'd pay buying the same services one by one, using the standalone prices above (HBO Max at its own Basic with Ads or Standard price):

The standout is the basic Disney+, Hulu Bundle: Hulu with ads costs you $0.50 a month on top of Disney+. If you're paying for Disney+ alone with ads, switching to the bundle adds all of Hulu for $6.00 more a year.

#How much did Disney+ and Hulu go up in September 2026?

ESPN went first, on September 17, 2026. Disney+ and Hulu followed for new subscribers on September 23, with existing subscribers seeing it on their next bill, as TVLine reported.

The ad-free tiers took the biggest hit: Disney+ Premium and Hulu Premium rose $2.50 each (13.2%), while the cheapest bundle didn't move. That widens the gap in favor of bundling.

Over time, the climb is steep. Disney+ Premium cost $10.99 when the ad tier launched in December 2022; at $21.49 it's up 95.5%. The ad plan went from $7.99 to $12.49 (56.3%). Every step, with sources, is on the price history pages for Disney+ and Hulu.

#Which Disney+ plan or bundle should you pick?

Two things to keep in mind:

• Disney's site shows a yearly price only for Disney+ Premium; the bundles are monthly. If you also want Hulu, the Premium bundle at $21.99/mo costs just $4.07 a month more than Disney+ Premium yearly ($17.92/mo), and you keep the freedom to cancel.

Eligible bundle subscribers can stream Hulu and ESPN right inside the Disney+ app, according to Disney+, so a bundle doesn't mean juggling more apps.

#How to pay less for Disney+ and Hulu

1. Don't pay for Disney+ alone with ads. The bundle adds Hulu for $0.50 a month.
2. Take the 6-month price lock only if you'll stay. Disney lists the Disney+, Hulu Bundle at $71.94 for six months, versus $77.94 at the regular $12.99, a $6.00 saving. The Premium version is $119.94 versus $131.94, saving $12.00. If you cancel during those six months, it only ends at the end of the term, so it doesn't mix with rotation.
3. Go yearly only for Disney+ Premium on its own. It saves $42.89 a year, but locks you in for 12 months.
4. Students pay less. College students can get Disney+ and Hulu for $6.49/mo, half the regular bundle price.
5. Rotate. If you only care about a few releases a year, subscribe for those months and cancel in between. You keep watching until the end of the period you paid for.
6. Check who bills you. Subscriptions through an app store, Amazon, Roku or a carrier can be priced differently and are canceled there.
